Infinitive and Gerund

She wants  to become (to infinitive after "want") a singer.
There are certain verbs after which you always use to-infinitive. 
Verbs + to infinitive here



She suggested  going (-ing form=gerund) to the cinema.
There are certain verbs after which you always use  -ing-form.
Verbs + ing here

They should  stay (bare infinitive) in at home when it rains.
There are certain verbs after which you always use  bare infinitive(=infinitive without "to")
