Complex Object

Complex Object (Cложное дополнение): some theory here. 

Example:

I want him to wash the dishes.  (Complex Object - him to wash )  Я хочу, чтобы он помыл посуду.
I saw him washing the dishes. (Complex Object - him washing ) Я видел, как он мыл (был в процессе) посуду.
I saw him wash the dishes. (Сomplex Object - him wash ) Я видел, как он помыл (выполнил действие до конца) посуду.
